THROUGH THE CRAFTROOM DOOR CHALLENGE #35

Today sees the start of another  Through The Craft Room Door Magazine Challenge!

My inspiration card for you features Eva the Glam Mermaid and she is available in the Michelle Perkett Store HERE 

The image was coloured using alcohol markers and a white gel pen  for the highlights.  A die was used to cut out the CS on which the image was printed and coloured.

I used an offcut of DP from an out-of-business South African company and the bright blue strip behind the punched green border.  I sewed some pearl beads onto the greenery.

The shiny shell sequins are actually clear with beautiful blue lilac and pink lustre (the flash of the camera picked up the pink lustre).  They were secured in place by the little pearl beads too.

The corners of the striped DP were shaped using a rounder punch and all the edges were inked.
