THROUGH THE CRAFTROOM DOOR CHALLENGE #35

Today sees the start of another  Through The Craft Room Door Magazine Challenge
We have more exciting news for you - we will not only be posting every week, but each challenge will be ANYTHING GOES.

Our fantastic sponsor this week is Michelle Perkett  and the prize is a $8.00 Gift Certificate.

My inspiration card for you features Eva the Glam Mermaid and she is available in the Michelle Perkett Store HERE

The image was coloured using alcohol markers and a white gel pen  for the highlights.  A die was used to cut out the CS on which the image was printed and coloured.

I used an offcut of DP from an out-of-business South African company and the bright blue strip behind the punched green border.  I sewed some pearl beads onto the greenery.

The shiny shell sequins are actually clear with beautiful blue lilac and pink lustre (the flash of the camera picked up the pink lustre).  They were secured in place by the little pearl beads too.

The corners of the striped DP were shaped using a rounder punch and all the edges were inked.

Have I inspired you?  Just by entering YOU could be the winner of that fabulous Gift Voucher!

I would like to add this card to the following challenges:

USE YOUR STUFF, #51, ‘EARNING YOUR STRIPES’ – the DP is an old offcut and the shell sequins and beads are at least 5 years old
