DIGISTAMPS 4 JOY CHALLENGE #50 :: CELEBRATE THE COLOURS OF SPRING

Spring has officially arrived in the Southern Hemisphere!!! ... but you would never guess that with the dark and dreary weather we've been having this week, not to mention the torrents of rain!!!

So, we're inviting you to

 Celebrate the Colours of Spring 

by challenging you  to make a papercraft creation that can be quirky, fun, serious or punny - using the colours you see in the beautiful picture of the daffodils above.

Here my card as inspiration for you:  

The image featured  is called "SHY" and is available from the Digistamps 4 Joy store HERE.  It is a little image I drew and was released in the store last Sunday - so she is BRAND NEW!

 The colouring medium is alcohol markers, and I made myself a little template to create the cloudy sky background, also using alcohol markers.  

The DP is an offcut and the sentiment is from a kit (I tweaked the colours of the three flowers from pink to orange - tee hee).  For the embellishments I used a wooden painted flower, a shiny satin bow and some stick on gems.

And guess who/what  she is thinking of?

SUMMER, of course!
