ENTER THE JACKSON'S DIGITAL EXPRESSIONS CHALLENGE AND HELP RAISE FUNDS FOR BREAST CANCER RESEARCH!!!

The theme for our challenge starting today, Tuesday, September 25, 2012 is Breast Cancer Awareness and we want your help!  Several of the  JDE Designers have pledged to donate $.25 to Breast Cancer Research for every entry in our challenge this week.  

We are not looking from money from you, just participation.  Your participation alone will help in the battle against this enemy of our bodies.

Please post a notice on your blog, encourage your crafty friends to join in. 

 We would like for you to use Pink or a BCA theme on your card.....

 But the truth is we just want as many entries as we can get.  With the current pledges, we stand at $1.25 per entry.

Here is my card to promote this challenge with a cause ... using an image from JDE, called Sunday Suit

I coloured the image using alcohol markers and a white gel pen:

 

I created the checked pattern on the jacket and the polka dots on the blouse using a colourless blender.  The rose embellishment on her hat is a satin ribbon rose that I made myself.  The shiny ribbon is a ready made embellie.

The card is made up of the following too:

white base card

deep pink mat for the background mat

pink die cut

spray of assorted pink flowers

tiny pink flower sequins sewn on using seed beads

computer generated sentiment (MS Word)

pink satin ribbon bow

tiny metal charm of the word "HOPE"

 PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE enter a project into our challenge, because just be doing so, you will be doing your bit to promote Breast Cancer Awareness AND the JDE fundraising drive, without having to open your wallet!!!

And an added BONUS is that the challenge is being sponsored by the fabulous BUGABOO STAMPS!!!  

So it's a win - win - win situation all round!!!!!
