THE OUTLAWZ MONDAY GREETING CARD CHALLENGE (24 SEPTEMBER)

The Outlawz Challenge for Monday, 24 September was to create a Greeting card with a BLUE BIRD and/or the words HAPPY or HAPPINESS on it, and this is my entry:

The image featured on my card is called Blocks - Hummingbird from BugabooStamps and it’s coloured using alcohol markers and a white gel pen.  The CS I used is a canvas textured one - I just love to use it because of the beautiful effect it gives!

The rest of the card is made up of the following components:

green base card

yellow and green CS matting

crystal glitter paint

stick on sentiment

I decided not to overload the card with embellies as once I had finished colouring the image it was clear to me that the image had to be the highlight of the card, without any distractions.  Do you agree that this image is just beautiful?
