My passion for digistamping ....

A week or so ago my friend Mel asked me if I'd like to design some digistamps for her new website and online shop, www.digistamps4joy.com

I've always loved doodling (now I know those doodles have a posh name, "ZENTANGLES") and so I agreed to try a few. I armed myself with an eraser, put pencil to paper, adn started to draw ... Oh my gosh, the images started to pour out of my pencil and as I was drawing one, the next one was starting to form in in my head, and I had to make notes on the side, draw rough outlines, before they got lost amongst all the other ideas. Soon it took me only a a short while and I was drawing them at a rate of four an hour, and now Mel has built up a pretty pile of images she needs to convert for the online shop.

Please go and visit www.digistamps4joy.com, there's a freebie digistamp there for you to try, and if you enjoy working with images that you can manipulate, size and combine with your papercrafts, maybe you'd like to purchase a few more, they're much cheaper to buy than regular rubber stamps!

Then maybe you'd also like to join an online community dedicated entirely to digital stamping, and become totally "hooked" like I am ... Drop me an email if you'd like a personal invitation to the group.

Here's a card I made with a ballerina digistamp that I designed for www.digistamps4joy.com. I hope you like what you see, and leave a comment, I would love to hear from you ...

I have just recovered from the weekend ...

What a crazy weekend it's been ... cardmaking, drawing digistamps ... and the excitiement of seeing them up in the shop!. Well done to my friend Mel, who has now got her awesome online shop at www.digistamps4joy.com up and running. I have designed her a few (20 or so) which are now slowly appearing in the shop and that makes me proud ... The other digistamps in the shop are awesome - why don't you go and check them out ..... Last night I finished another two because I felt she didn't have enough boys in the shop and "Alex can Surf" is what I came up with. Then I decided he didn't have a babe to join him on the beach, so his girlfriend was born - she doesn't have name yet, maybe I can just call her babe. Anyway I was so excited that I coloured them straight away ... and this is the card. Hope you like it!

I am always up for a challenge ...

and especially one with butterflies ... this doorhanger I made today and it's for a colour combo with butterflies challenge where I needed to use white, real red, cotton candy pink and kraft. The specs said papercraft project so I decided against a card, and came up with this doorhanger, just perfect for a little girl's room ... what do you think?

I am stumbling around ...

Slowly, two steps forward one step back, that's me in the blogging world. But I need to find my way around if I want to join in all the fun activities this bloggyworld has to offer.

So I decided I will try and add a photograph of my entry into the Kenny K Challenge no. 2. so here is me trying ... let me know if you can find the pic, if it's there at all, or otherwise, just leave a comment to say hello...
