BUGABOO'S ANYTHING BUT A CARD MONDAY

The Catch the Bug Blog features projects other than cards on a Monday, and I made a magnetic bookmark using the Bugaboo Stamps image Giraffe Heart:

To make the bookmark I used the tutorial and chippie covering and inking technique I learned at our Card Guild workshop, and I got to use my new brayer - the first time in my life that I have ever used one! - What fun!  I coloured the image using alcohol markers, and pasted it onto two pieces of chipboard that I covered with DP.  The edges were inked, a short piece of satin ribbon added to connect the two pieces, and then I added the magnets.
I used a white gel pen to do the highlighting on the image, as well as the doodling on the heart.

I would like to enter this project into the following challenges:

Stampin' Sisters in Christ, #146, "Use something new" - I used the tutorial from our Card Guild Workshop, and the DP and magnets are new.
