Today’s new
releases at
DIGISTAMPS 4 JOY are a real mixed bag again – and the
image I’d like to introduce to you is called
ICE SKATES
ICE SKATES
Here is the
image on a card that is just perfect for a man. Ice skate images always seem to be used on feminine cards, using pastels, so I decided to make this a MANLY card, with brown ice skates :
The image was printed onto white CS, coloured, cut with an oval die and then shaded with eye shadow powders. I used a fixative to set the powders. Sequins and beads were sewn onto the diecut using invisible cotton (the kind I use for my bellydance costumes. Alcohol markers are the colouring medium, and I used a white
gel pen for some of the highlights.
Other items from my stash to make up this card are:
white CS card base
blue CS mat
glitter snowflake DP in blues and browns
I added a glossy satin ribbon and bow and some punched snowflakes (they are teeny-tiny):
This is not the only new release. Click HERE to check out the others, and some fabulous samples from the ladies of the Design Team.
