AN ALTERED BOX

I started off with a box - oh dear - I should have photographed it first :(
and used TH distress ink pads to age it.

The images featured are from  the Nicecrane Designs Sheet called Old Fashioned Women

Old Fashioned Women CS

I added the following embellishments :

Metal corners, recoloured with alcohol ink and embellished with glass beads
I made paper roses coloured the edges of the petals and spritzed them with an ageing mist;  the leaves are diecuts
The flourishes are peel offs that have been recoloured using Copic markers

I made a lace, glass bead, pearl and ribbon rosette:
There is a faux latch, made with a diecut and a pearl

Here is a side view showing the dimension :

I pasted it onto a square of white cs, that wasmatted onto black cs, and onto which I had printed the se ntiment:

"Keep some room in your heart for the unexpected.."

I then sewed on a selection of gold sequins and beads:

ANYTHING BUT A CARD AT BUGABOO STAMPS

O n Mondays, we get to share (non) card projects made with Bugaboo images, and this is what I have to share with you today:

I made a little Get Well gift box for a pocket pack of tissues, with a Bugaboo image in the lid:

The image featured in my project is one of the blocks in the Ladybug Block Trio from the store HERE.  It's coloured using Copics, and the bug is sporting a Glossy Accents coat.  There are flower gems on the flowers.  The bug has a googly eye:

The box is made from an A4 sheet of shimmer cs, and has punched border and ribbon sides:

The box is tied closed with a ribbon.

A LOVE LETTER TO MY HUSBAND

'LOVE LETTER' is  the themEof  the CAS challenge at the Outlawz today, and this is the card I made to enter:

To make my card, I cut and folded a piece of patterned cardstock (as you see it in the photograph with the gems already stuck on).

The sentiment was printed onto a strip of velum.  I added the two flowers with gem centres and stuck the strip over the cardstock.

Done!
Quick and Easy!
Cleand and Simple
