Merry Christmas to those of you who are celebrating it today! Well today starts our final challenge here at Jackson's Digital Expressions! This challenge blog will close as of 12/31/12.
However, Chana and Kathi have decided to start another challenge blog and we are so excited that most of the DT is joining in on this new adventure. We would love to have you join us as well. We are located at 613 Avenue Create and our 1st challenge starts on January 6th!
Our final challenge is a color challenge of Red, White, Gray and Gold, and this is the photograph to inspire you:
Here is my card, inspired by the colours:
Isn't this young lady the picture of perfect elegance? (A bit like me, hehe? ... SO NOT!)
What draws me to this image is that beautiful, perfect, long and elegant right leg ... and those of you that know me will agree that it is so very unlike my accident scarred, almost severed one ... BUT MINE IS MUCH MORE BEAUTIFUL BECAUSE I STILL HAVE IT!!!!
Praise the Lord for that!
To make up my card I used my new alcohol makers (you can check my blog for the ones that South Africans can buy from me) and a white gel pen to colour the image. The red holographic border is a colour card, something that a friend kindly gae me. I have also used a gold CS diecut edged with fancy white pearls and a white rose (also available through me - check my blog).
The DP that I used for the background is actually grey but the mysteries of photographic science have turned it into a beige colour - LOL! I red ribbon and a stick on sentiment complete the card.
BTW - did you see those glittered gold stiletto's? I think I need some of those just to put on the shelf to admire them ...
Click HERE to add your card to the challenge ... and for a final chance to win some fabulous JDE images!
On behalf of Chana and the DT it has been a pleasure contributing to the inspiration as a DT member for these challenges and seeing the amazing talent that has been showcased week after week. And it has been so nice getting to know some of our regular contributors a little better. We wish you a safe and happy holiday and we hope to see you at
