ANYTHING BUT A CARD - with BUGABOO STAMPS

Every Monday we get to share with you some (non-card) projects made with BUGABOO STAMPS.  This week, it's my turn, and I'd like to show you my altered mousetrap ... I now use if for a really cute memo clip!

To make this project I bought a really cheap mousetrap and removed the working parts (the ones that keep the trap sprung open and the little cheese holder).
I used washi tape to cover the wooden part (you could paint or even decoupage it)

The Bugaboo image featured here is called Lace Berry 1 and it's coloured using  Copics.  The red berries are covered in Glossy Accents.

As embellishments I used red gems and a white organza ribbon bow.

I must admit that this is not my own idea - I was inspired by the many many wonderful projects on Speciality Paper's Facebook page.

A CARD - JUST FOR FUN, for a change ...

One of my prizes for winning a challenge sponsored by The Paper Shelter was this gorgeous image called Arabian Spell.

I have had the image printed for a while now, and finally got to colour it and created this card:

The colouring is Copics, a white gel pen and Stickles:

To create my card I used the following from my stash:

white CS base card
black card mat
red gems
sewn on sequins and beads onto her costume
black trim onto which I sewed sequins and beads

The letters that form the word 'shimmy' have are a diecut that I decorated with a white gel pen.

I simply LOVE this image, and as I used to belly dance (and still create the costumes for clients), I have had such fun with it
.

I mered the two png versions of the images and used Copics to colour:

I added Glossy Accents to the sunglasses and water droplets.

To construct my card I used the following from my stash:

white CS base card
two colours of blue CS mats
silver cord
silver edged sticker embellishment

THE OUTLAWZ MONDAY GREETING CARD CHALLENGE

Today's challenge at The Outlawz is to create a greeting card (with a sentiment) using embossing.

I ws inspired to make this card (as I am on the DT it is not an entry into the challenge):

The card consists of:
white CS base
digital sentiment on a white CS embossed piece of CS
black CS card mat
white fabric flower
white fancy pearl centre
handing from the flower is a cork stopped miniature glass bottle that contains 3 dandelion seeds

(I think you can just about make them out in the photograph above.)

I once saw this cute bottle idea (but in a much larger scale) and thought it would be so cute on a card.
