ANYTHING BUT CARD FOR CHRISTMAS

I used my envelope punch board to create my chocolate gift  packaging

It was really simple to make - proceed as if you were making an envelope, but omit the final score.

Used for my project are

red CS - edges disresssed

kraft CS - edges distressed

Christmas theme DP - edges distressed 

red CS holly diecut

green CS holly diecut

The chipboard sentiment was pasted to a tiny peg to attach to the gift packing

This little thank you card is a variation of one that I am regularly asked to make

I sewedon the stems with green embroidery cotton and then sewed on the clusters of lavender beads, directly onto the cream coloured cardstock diecut:

I used a cream coloured CS mat, and a pale yellow base card.

The embellishments are a peel-off sentiment and a lilac satin ribbon bow.

Digistamps 4 Joy released some more of my drawings as digistamps in their store today, and this image on my card is called

This is a digitized version of a pencil drawing I did in 1974 while still at school.

I coloured the image in Copic shades of grey.

As this is a CAS card I kept the embellishments to a minimum, just some grey pearls and grey satin ribbon.

I toadally frogot....

This little birthday card (belated) for a boy features an image from A Day for Daisies .....

I used Copics for the colouring and a white gel pen for the detailing:

His eyes have been doubled heat embossed with UTEE and I added Glossy Acents on his 'toes'.

The sentiment is my own, the corners are punched and the mat is green CS.

SUPREME SCRAP AND CARD TOURNAMENT 2015 - MONOGRAM CHALLENGE

To pre-register for the 2015 Supreme Scrap and Card Tournament, you need to create a monogram to be used as your avatar - 

Well - I tried ........

two layers of a cereal box glues together - drew a freehand "J" - cut it out - covered in DP - sanded edges - distressed edges - distressed inked the DP - splashed on water

Then it was ready for the embellishments:

flower attached with an eyelet

antique lace sewn on and embellished with sequins and beads

punched and eyeletted lace detail

'antique' gem

This monogram is so 'me' - old soul - bling - little bit of country and little bit of rock n roll.

I hope this is acceptable to the judges and gets me pre-registered for the tournament.

I used Copics for the colouring

The following was raided from my stash to create my card

white CS base

pink CS mats

I stamped the script on the DP, using a clear stamp a and distress ink, sanded with a sandpaper block, water spritzed it and then sponged the edges with distress ink

There is also part of a diecut, diecut flourishes, and diecut rolled flowers (using an Impression Obsession die)

pearls, and gems on my card :

The sentiment is a peel-off.
