A COMMISSIONED SYMPATHY CARD


It's pretty difficult to make a sympathy card for someone you know, but I find it even a bugger challenge when I am commissioned to make one for someone I don't know at all.

The card above is what I am up with:

CAS, non-religious, yet serene, and I hope, symbolic)

I printed an image of a 'dead' branch on the cardstock, and the sentiment.   That was layered onto a deep purple cs mat.

Then I sewed some little flower sequins and beads :


I also added a simple white ribon with a single know.

I am happy to report that the client who collected it today was very happy with this card ... phew!
