SHOPPING BAG WITH FELT FLOWERS AND BLING

I needed to make a sample project using BLUEBERRY BEAR felt flowers for the upcoming Your Family Creative Crafts Expo from 28 - 30 June 2013 at Emperor's Palace, Gauteng :



I used a ready made black shopper and glued on a variety of felt flowers but when the glue dried the flowers fell off.  So it was onto Plan B : sew them on ... which I did, and then added some rhinestones(the sew on variety of which I have hundreds in all different colours in my stash - for the bellydancers' costumes).  And then I added a few sequins for extra bling :


A bright pink satin bow around onr of the handles seemed to be the perfect finishing touch.

I just love this bag and what fun it will be taking it to thesupermarket (or maybe I will keep it to give as a gift to someone special)!
