MY FIRST ATTEMPT AT A 12 X 12 INCH LAYOUT

Believe it or not, I have never attempted to create a 12 x 12 layout, and thought it was about time.  Leaving the back door open in case of failure, I didn't use an actual photograph but rather went with a very pretty 1970's wedding card that I have kept all these years.

Here's my first attempt:

I recoloured the bride's dress to introduce some of the pink shades, and cut it down to fit into the chipboard frame that I coloured using Copic markers:

This is the list of supplies for my project:

really old greeting card (circa 1977)
Pion DP
offcut of pink DP
chipboard frame - distressed to look like tarnished and oxidised metal (I hope)
various flowers and leaves
pink organza ribbon
sewn on pink and white sequins and beads
Supplies from Blueberry Bear
pearl hearts
fancy flat back pearls
pearl bead flowers
metal butterfly embellishment that was spray-painted white, and shaded pink and green using Copic markers
