Today's new release is this cute Mama Bird and her chick, and the protective wing over her young 'un is so touching, it reminded me of how I felt when each one of my boys went to school for the first time! ((insert *awww* here)
Here is what I made with the image:
I coloured the image using alcohol markers and a white gel pen for the highlights. A diecut was used to cut the card the image is on and I added gems in three of the corners. In the fourth corner is a sunflower and the sentiment is computer generated. The DP is from a book of card kits (I don't remember which one) and I chose it and the sunflower because they are both seeds that birds eat (well, perhaps not this kind of bird)
