FABULOUS FREEBIE FRIDAY AT SASSY STUDIO DESIGNS

Is it a fabulous Freebie Friday - YES - you bet!

The FABULOUS FREEBIE today at Sassy Studio Designs is this delightful image called "Preggo Honey"

Isn't she just breathtakingly beautiful!  (I wish I looked this pretty when I was pregnant) But then perhaps her swollen feet are covered .... LOL!  Nevertheless, here is the card I made:

To create my card, I decided to use some song lyrics

from Chris de Burgh, as they seemed appropriate

for a husband to sing to his pregnant wife. 

I printed the image (which I flipped horizontally)

and lyrics onto white cardstock,

and fussy cut her out (on the right hand side).

 I coloured her using alcohol markers and

crystal glitter glue.

The highlights were made using a white gel pen.

 

On the left hand side

 I used a border die

to cut out the scalloped border,

and hand-sewed on

the tiny flower sequins

and seed beads.
