DIGISTAMPS 4 JOY'S "EMMA"

One of the new images that I have drawn for the Digistamps 4 Joy store is "Emma" and I used this image to create a card for The Outlawz Monday 14th Greeting Card Challenge where the theme is "Purple for Peace Day".

Here is what I made:

I coloured the image using alcohol markers and a white gel pen was used for the highlights.  In the original image the little dress is not patterned, so i created a little floral pattern with the alcohol markers and a white gel pen.

Both the DP's are the front and back of a sheet of the same, and unfortunately it was just an offcut so I don't know who he manufacturer is. A die cut border in white (from my stash box) and purple flower buttons topped with gems create a base.  The white circle diecut is the base for the stick-on sentiment and the peace sign.  I felt I needed to add the crisp white organza bow to introduce a little softness.

I would like to add this card to the following challenges too:

Do remember to check on Sunday at the Digistamps 4 Joy store to see a HUGE NEW RELEASE of some real cuties that  I have been drawing recently.

  6. Wow Jen! When I first looked at the card in CDAC I thought it was a digital 'fill' with one click of the mouse. This is gorgeous how you hand colored and detailed her dress pattern so perfectly. You inspire me to actually try hand-coloring without the use of my software programs. Now, that would be a first!!
