Ralph Waldo Emerson (May 25, 1803 – April 27, 1882) wrote so many of the quotes we use on our cards and layout's these days and his words of inspiration and wisdom never cease to amaze me.
I used one of his little prayers as the sentiment of my thank you card
I love the image as the sparrows remind me of the hundred that visit my garden every day.
I distressed the edges of the image by cutting, tearing, inking and chalking:
The two sparrows in the foreground were colored green and printed on a separate sheet of cardstock, then fussy cut and popped up on the original image:
