A VALENTINE'S CARD

I have long had an idea to make a 'funny' shaped card and was looking for a sketch to use, and found this one from Deconstructed Sketch (so I'd like to add my card to the challenge there)

Deconstructed Sketch 135

and used it to make this card:

The image featured on my card is Mo Manning's Stole my Heart, and as my card has lots of layers, I will enter it into her challenge #218, "Lots of Layers"

I coloured the image using a variety of alcohol markers, and a white gel pen:

Also on my card are
red CS mats
2 different DPs
a pearl (solid) heart embellishment
the sentiment is computer generated
I used some red cord and tied two pearl bead hearts to it

  2. I love the shape of your card (or does it only look slightly lopsided in the photo?) and the stripes that are larger than the card base. That's great!
Thanks for taking part in the Daring Cardmakers dare.
