A PHOTO INSPIRATION CHALLENGE AT BUGABOO'S 'CATCH THE BUG' BLOG

Welcome to another challenge at Bugaboo's Catch the Bug Blog.  This week we have a photo inspiration challenge for you and this is your inspiration:

I used the colour blue, the clouds, the word "summer" and the washline of swimsuits. To start with I created a cloudy sky background by cutting a template and sponging on the blue sky around the billowing clouds:

The two Bugaboo images I used are :
Beach Border
Swimsuits

which I coloured using alcohol markers, and a white gel pen for highlights.  The "Beach" word image was stuck to the bottom of the background, and I used a black fineliner to draw the washline.

I fussy cut the swimsuits and attached them to the washline by sewing on two 2mm seed beads to act as the pegs.  To finish I inked around the edge of the card, and attached it to the base card.

You really needn't interpret the inspiration photograph as literally as I did.  You can use the beach theme, or the colors, or even use that lovely layout - it's up to you how you interpret the inspiration.  And when you have completed your card, please link it HERE to the challenge ... you just may be the winner of one of these :
a pack of 10 digi images from Bugaboo
or
a pack of 7 digi images from Bugaboo
or
a pack of 4 digi images from Bugaboo

Now isn't that a fabulous set of prizes.  You agree?  Well, off you go and create something WONDERFUL!
