This image is one that I drew last year and she remained in my sketch book until this week. I have called her Cheri Chic and this will be my entry into the Colour Challenge at the Outlawz.
I have coloured the image using alcohol markers, and added some glitter glue and white gel pen highlights.
If you have a close look at the background, you'll notice that the shape of the diecut is visible in the background. To acheive this I used wax paper that I laid on top of the white CS when I cut out the image.
The wax paper diecut was then crumpled up, straightened out, placed on glossy CS and ironed with a hot dry iron. I used a blue stamp pad and brayered the blue ink over the glossy CS and the wax then resists most of the ink.
