NEW RELEASES AT DIGISTAMPS 4 JOY (yes again!)

Sunday's rolled around again, (albeit a chilly one here in South Africa) and time for another whackload of new releases in the store.  It's  an 'eclectic' mix of images this week and if you click HERE you'll link to the blog to preview them ....  let me know what you think ....

I have made a monochromatic Father's Day card with one of Asine's images, called "Little Golfer"

I coloured the image using alcohol markers, and played around with the shading to create patterns and textures :
I kept the colouring mostly in the grey range and only deviated for skin and hair tones

His cap pattern was achieved by drawing lines to form the checks  and a little darker grey was used to shade in the peak and the gathering in the top of the cap.

His pants were shaded in three colours of grey and a white gel pen used to draw in the checks.

I've never had a Copics colouring lesson as I love to experiment on my own, so all of the Copics Certified crafters out there might be screaming "NO! NO! NO! That's not how it's done at all!" ... but hey, I am having fun - there are more ways that one to eat a banana!

As this little guy looked as though he was whispering a secret, I made up my own sentiment in MS Word.

The DP's are an assortment of black, grey and white offcuts.

Some of the other images released today are images on cards I have already blogged :
