FRIDAY'S ALCOHOL MARKER CHALLENGE AT THE OUTLAWZ

The theme for the challenge over at The Outlawz Alcohol marker group this week is

ANYTHING GOES
(with an optional Christmas twist)

and this is my DT inspiration card for you :

The image featured on my card is from Bugaboo Stamps, called Fancy Sunbonnet - Christmas Stuff,, and coloured with Copics:
I added some detailing using a white gel pen as well as a glitter gel pen :

The image was cut out using a scalloped die, and I sewed on the star sequins using seed beads and invisible thread. There are also shiny gold Card Candi legless brads in the four corners.
I have used shiny red CS for my background and the edges are rounded using a corner rounder punch.

To complete my card I used red cord tied in a bow, and gold gems.

The Outlawz Tuesday Colour challenge has this colour palette today:

and this is my one layer CAS Christmas card using smooth pink, gentle white and lovely lavender :

BUGABOO STAMPS - NEW RELEASE TUESDAY

There are REALLY beautiful new releases in the Bugaboo Store today, and this cute Santa is just one of them!  Here I have made a few Christmas gift tags :

The image is coloured using alcohol markers and a white gel pen:

To create my tags, I used a die to cutout the image, and a slightly larger die of the same shape to cut out the CS background.
I punched a hole through both layers, added a pinched/embossed poinsettia and shiny green cord threaded through a red glass bead.  There are also three red gems on the tag:

ANYTHING GOES AT THE OUTLAWZ GREETING CARD CHALLENGE

Now who doesn't love an ANYTHING GOES challenge?!

Here's an antique style card I was working on over the weekend, and I got to finish it off this morning:

The main image is from Graphic 45 :

The rest of my card is made up of scraps and offcuts lying around on my very messy craft table:

I created my own background using solid pink CS and misting over a chippie chicken wire cut:
(Can you see the fussy cut image with the inked edges?)

There is an offcut of lace sewn on, and embellished with sewn on pearl beads:

The flowers are cut from offcuts... 2 from shiny paper, with Copics colouring, and 1 from scrap of patterned DP. They have pearl bead flower centres.

I have also used:
pink satin ribbon and bow
washi tape
flat back pearls
peel off sentiment

THE OUTLAWZ CAS CHALLENGE - USE A MOUSE

Today's challenge at The Outlawz in the CAS group is to use a mouse, and this is my card to pay along for fun :

The image featured on my card is Bugaboo's Sewing Mouse - Needle, and it's coloured with Copics.  I used a silver gel pen to colour the needle and a lumo red gel pen to colour the nose:

The sentiment is my own, and computer-generated in MS Word Art.

The ribbon is Christmas gift parcel ribbon, attached with double sided tape, and I added three gel gold stars for a little dimension:

BUGABOO'S MONTHLY PHOTO INSPIRATION CHALLENGE

This week's challenge at Bugaboo's Catch the Bug Challenge blog  has a PHOTO INSPIRATION theme, and just look at this inspiring photo chosen for you:

I focused on the road and the colours and created this card for your inspiration:

The two merged Bugaboo images featured on my card are:
and I coloured them using Copics:

To create my card I used the following:

orange CS card base
green CS mat
tyre track DP
I made a border by cutting out one of the tyre tracks, and it's matted onto bronze CS, for the peel off sentiment (recoloured using Copics)

I also used orange satin ribbon, and punched/embossed flowers made from offcuts of cardstock (out of the waste bin).

Click HERE to link to the challenge to get more details, and while you're there, check out the way in which my fellow dt's were inspired!

Before I go, I'd like to let you know about a fun event at Bugaboo, coming soon!
