A Bugaboo NEW release on NEW year's eve!!!

Bugaboo Stamps just doesn't disappoint!  Yes, there is a new release today, even on the last day of the year, and this is the card I made with it:

This gorgeous birthday clown was coloured using Copics, a white gel pen and LOTS of gorgeous Glossy Accents:

To create my card I used the card sketch 5-2-11 from Let's Scrap

and the following from my hoarded stash:

white CS base card
red CS mats
a Copics coloured digi sentiment
As embellishments I made a little pinwheel and added an orange pompom to the clown's hat.

A {N}ICE CREAM FOR THE SUMMER HEAT

I needed to make a birthday card and as it's so terribly hot here in Durban today, it needed to be cool:

The imge is a free colouring age from the wuwuwu and I used Copics for the colouring, with a liberal treatment of Glossy Accents:

Also, I used the following

white CS card base
red CS mat
printed DP -chalked edges
washy tape
ribbon
cord
the sentiment is my own, computer generated

I could do with a REAL one of these right now, as it's 30C, windless, and I am sure the humidity is high!!

CARLA'S STAMPING SPOT BLOGAVERSARY

HAPPY BLOGAVERSARY CARLA!

I don't often participate in blog candy draws, mostly because the postage to South Africa is very expensive,, and I never have a chance in the universe to win!

However, Carla is a wonderfully talented crafter that I have had the honour of joining on Design Teams.
The purpose of sharing this Blogaversary post is for you to get to know Carla, and to see her amazing work!

This is what you could win!

Doesn't that look amazing - (I must admit that I have never seen some of it before)

Pop over to Carla's blog, to wish her Happy Blogaversary, and be inspired!

ONE DIE -TWO CAS CARDS

I used my Memory Box die to create this CAS card:

SUPPLIES :

black CS card base cut with memory box die
white CS behind the cut out flowers
blue ribbon peel off sentiment

and then I couldn't bring myself to throw out those dainty black flowers, so I made this card

I stuck the flowers onto a white CS base, added a tiny flat back pearl in each centre, and used a gold peel-off sentiment.

A BABY CARD FOR MY CHARITY CARD COLLECTION

I found some time to make a baby card for my charity card collection today:

I cut out  the shape of the card (which I drew freehand) and embossed the lower portion of the front. The  lacy 'hem' was cut with a border punch.

The  'sleeve' edges were scored and a ribbon and sentiment added to the 'waist'.

The 'neckline' and 'collar' were also cut freehand, and I added paper pricking to the 'collar'.
The pearl 'buttons' and ribbon bow were added as embellishments.
