LET'S SCRAP : A NEW SKETCH CHALLENGE STARTS TODAY!

This week's sketch over at Let's Scrap is a fun one :

and just for taking up the challenge you could win a prize from this great sponsor:

Please tag your LO:  12-4-13
to be entered into the draw you must post your layout/card no later than
December 10th, 2013 at 11:59 pm (by the main page clock).

Here is what I came up with to inspire you:

I used the right hand side of the double layout and gave it a quarter turn to the right.

The postage stamp images on my card are stickers from Graphic 45, and the rest of the card I made up of scraps:

Te base of the card is brown cardstock and the background (striped) DP has been antiqued by spritzzing over a chicken wire template.  The edges are inked and distressed.
I used kraft CS to make a picket fence diecut and added sunflowers and leaves.  I also added a butterfly diecut embellished with sewn on beads:

You can also see the paper piercing and hand stitching I did above the flowers.

The little candle and stones to stage the photograph i think just added to the charm of the vintage style card.
