BRONTE AND BELLA'S PASTEL CHALLENGE #182

I'm sliding in under the wire here, with my entry for the Bronte and Bella's Challenge #182, using a Mo Manning image and pastel colours, as the challenge closes in a hour or two ... or less!

The image featured on my card is called Laptop baby from Mo's store.

I used my Copics and a white gel pen to colour the little cutie pie, and a round die to cut.  Some chalking was done around the image before I removed the die.

The I used a die that allows you to fold over the little cut "V" s around it and added some pale pink pearls.  That was then layered onto a pale (but slighter darker pink) round CS diecut.

As the image is so very charming and cute, I wanted to keep this card little more CAS than I usually make, so I added a pastel pink satin ribbon and bow as the sole embellishment.  This will make the card a little easier to send by post.

Just to remind my South African followers - Mother's Day is on 12 May, and this little card will be the perfect card to add to that huge bouquet of pastel pink flowers .... just sayin' ... wink wink ...
