Angels have Wings ...

Over at CDAC the current Progressive Freebie Challenge is underway again, and the first free image is a most beautiful angel with a matching sentiment drawn by the awesomely talented artist, 
Shelly, of Shelly's images..

Here is my card using the freebies:


I coloured the image using *alcohol markers* and a white gel pen, and fussy cut the image from the background using my *precision scissors with the 3cm blades*.  
*Close to my Heart Glitter Glue* was added to her wings.


For my card i used the following:

kraft cardstock base with inked edges
*old script DP with inked edges*
diecut from velvet flocked paper with *Close to my Heart glitter glue*edges
*gold washi tape*
*a selection of flowers with pearl centres*
satin/organza ribbon bow
*small flat back textured pearl heart*

The sentiment was printed onto cream CS and added as a separate unit.

    My heart actually skipped a beat...really. WOW Jen. I have no words to describe how amazingly beautiful this is. Your coloring is AMAZING. I want to hop on a plane and just sit with you and watch you color. I love the addition of the greens and blues in the wings. It just makes them have such depth. And her eyes! And her lips! Wow. Did I say wow?!!! Just truly incredible my friend.

    Hi Jen, well what can I say? Your card is exquisite! Love the close up pictures too. You should be a make up artist. I love your coloring on the face. I have been out of the loop with blog challenges and it looks like you are on top of it with those. Thanks for helping spread the word. I need to update the challenge links group on cdac.
