ANYTHING BUT A CARD : BUGABOO STAMPS - an altered notebook

The images at Bugaboo Stamps are so varied that you will find one for almost any occasion... and this is my project for ABaC (anything but a card) Monday:

I found this little padded pale kraft notebook with the cutest ombre hearts stamped on it,  and fell in love with it!

To alter it, I added white gel pen dots on the hearts, and coloured cord, and this little image that I coloured using Copics:

The image is called Jack and Diane - Love Circle

(do you remember the song 'Jack and Diane' by John Mellenkamp from 1982?)

I cut the image using a die and added some sequins as embellishments.

Thanks for popping by today
