Every week we at Let's Scrap have a wonderful new sketch for your inspiration, and today's sketch is simply inspiring:
You can create a layout or a card, post it to the gallery with the relevant tag, and voila! you are in the running to win a fabulous prize!
To inspire you further, here is my vintage-inspired card using the sketch (I rotated it a quarter turn to accommodate the shape of the image)
The main image i part of a sheet of 12 x 12 paper that I had already cut up, so sorry, I didn't make a note of which company it's from). The edges are inked. I added a little bit of Copics colouring to enhance the colours and some white gel pen detail:
To make up my card I used:
beige CS card base
green floral embossed DP with edges inked
a strip of white lace print window tape (just visible in the pic below)
strips of lace and lace flowers with sewn on pearl bead centres (that I made myself)
self adhesive floral swirl (actually a cell phone embellishment)
I also used gems and a bow made from seam binding that I tea-dyed myself
I would love to see your take on the sketch!
