A DAY FOR DAISIES :: PAINT IT UP :: NEW CHALLENGE

My card features one of the new images from the A Day for Daisies Club kit for May, and this one is called "Little Dancer Rose".

I created this card to invite you to join us for the A Day for Daisies newest challenge, Paint it Up

My card features a faux painted canvas background (digital) onto which I overprinted the rose dancer image, and then coloured her using alcohol markers, a white gel pen and Stickles

I purposely left the blending a little 'choppy' so that it looked a little like an acrylic painting.

I used a stencil and real acrylic craft paint to add a little texture and colour to the background:
You will find a link to the challenge here - I hope to be commenting on your entry soon, but remember you must use an A Day for Daisies image to play along (Tammy has generously provided a gorgeous freebie for you at the foot of the challenge post).
