so, WHAT'S NEW IN MY NECK OF THE WOODS?

Well, today's news is that JellyPark Friends has new DT members, and I am on the team.
There is also a set of new images released today, and you can see the three images above

And last, but not least, a new challenge.

But first things first, and the current Design Team now is:
 Jennifer Scull (DT Lead)

I just love the style of drawing that the creator of these images, the fabulously talented Claire Keay, has, and I loved creating this wedding card with two of the new images :

Aren't the just the cutest?
(check out the end of this post for some useful links)

And now, let me tell you about the new challenge:
It is called "Old Year/New Year" and we would like for you to use something old as well as something brand new on your papercraft projects.
Be sure to describe your something old & new in your post and link back to us.
You may use any images you would like, but remember to keep it family friendly.
If you use a Jellypark image, you will get an extra entry into the contest for Top 3.
You may enter our challenge up to 2 times please just to keep it fair to everyone.

Here is my inspiration for you, for this challenge:

Something old: those stars are fabulously glittered and self-adhesive, and I have had them in my stash for what seems like forever ...
Something new : certainly that fabulous little image, and the two DP's - I discovered a little craft store not too far away from where I live, and they have the yummiest range of stuff that I have seen in a long while!
I coloured the image using my Copics and a white gel pen, and popped up the head and hands to give the card a 3D effect:

I am sure you have lots of stuff in your stash that has been there for years, and some new goodies that you received as gifts for Christmas that you are wanting to try out, and here's your opportunity!

I would love to see what you create!
