Here is this week's Sketch and our my creation, using a Priscillastyles image:
I coloured the image using Copics and a white gel pen, and used crystal glitter glue on the ice skates, and silver metallic pen on the skate blades.
To follow the sketch, the background paper was cut to the required shapes and embossed, and adored with crystal flatback, self-adhesive gems. The flower bases are Petaloo's "Colour me Crazy" which I coloured using fabric dye, food colouring and water-based fibre tip markers. The white roses also got the crystal glitter glue treatment. The border on the right hand side is a Marianne's Creatable, and I wove a silver ribbon through the slots.
I interpreted the elements on the sketch to have stickpins, so I made a couple of my own by threading some leftover beads I had in my stash (left over from belly dance costume makes) onto two pearl tipped hatpins.
That's about it! This is such a lovely sketch to play around with! - There are so many elements that can be interpreted really creatively - why don't yo have a go and enter your project for a chance at those fabby prizes?

My PRISCILLASTYLES image of the boy and his bug was coloured using Copics. I printed the image a second time, coloured only the bug, cut it out using a die, and then heat embossed using clear UTEE and a heat gun. It was attached to the base image using two black brads.
My embellishments for this creation consist of some strands taken off sacking fabric, acrylic old gold coloured butterflies and a metal brass flower.

For my card, I used a Priscillastyles image, coloured using Copics, and fussy cut before attaching it to a Cuttlebug embossing folder. The sprig of flowers by Petaloo is coloured using blue food colouring and dried using a heat gun so that it started to scorch somewhat, creating an antique look to match the image.
For my 3D project, I crocheted a cellphone pouch in white cotton thread to which I added two Petaloo crocheted flowers which I left the original white to match the crochet cotton.
What wonderful products the Petaloo Color me Crazy flowers are - as you can see, you can colour them or leave them as is!
Now it's your turn to create something! While you're busy with your MMSC project, create something for the Petaloo Challenge too - there are AWESOME prizes to be won for both challenges!
