NEW CHALLENGE 12-18-13 AT LET'S SCRAP

This week's sketch challenge at Let's Scrap has started and this the lovely sketch to follow (it's a one-pager this week) and you can make a card or a single page layout:

I chose to make this card as my DT inspiration for you:

My card has a white CS base, with an offcut of snowflake print DP (inked edges) as the background.  On top of that I added a diecut with faux spirelli, sequins and beads:

The sentiment was printed onto white CS, cut out with a die and embellished with sewn on snowflake sequins and beads:

To keep to the sketch I needed to dd another circular element, so coloured this image (my apologies - origin unknown) using Copics, covered it i Glossy Accents, and agitated it when it was dry but not hardened to give it a rough stained glass look.  The gems were embedded whilst the Glossy Accents was still wet.

A double silver bow completes the card.
