HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MR JACKSON!!!

There is a new challenge over at Jackson's Digital Expressions this week .... and always it is an ANYTHING GOES challenge, but the Design Team are celebrating Mr Robert Jackson's birthday!

Here is my Birthday Card for Mr Jackson, using one of his images called Chef Phebe

I coloured the image using alchohol markers, and a white gel pen for the highlights. I have never tried to 'colour' white clothes before, so this was a bit of a 'hit and miss' experiment for me. Not ever having had a Copics class or even watched a Youtube tutorial on colouring before, I called on my creative imagination for this, and I think this looks not too bad, don't you think?

The image I have used is "Vintage Debutante" available in the Digistamps 4 Joy store HERE

I coloured the image using alcohol markers and a white gel pen, and added some glitter for the bling factor.

THE OUTLAWZ COLOUR CHALLENGE : 28 AUGUST 2012

The colour challenge at The Outlawz today is :

and here is how I interpreted it:

To make this card I used wide (wired) organza ribbon with fabulous glitter printing. The flowers are store bought, and i added the ribbon from my stash. To add the 'letter' element I used a pendant from a cheap necklace as I want to add a little more bling.

Digistamps 4 Joy now stocks the long-forgotten Janel rubber stamps and they are now available as DIGIS!!! The one featured on my card is called

DAISY MOON

I used the image twice, and flipped the one so that it formed an oval. I coloured using alcohol markers and a white gel pen. It was cut out using a Marianne's Creatables die.
