This is a CAS card I made for today's CAS Challenge at The Outlawz.  The little digi image is from Bugaboo Stamps, called Bugaboo Brats Bugs - Boy Bee that I coloured in alcohol markers. The sentiment is generated in MS Word and I added the dashed line by hand. The little bee boy is  sitting on a tag die cut and I added two little gems and some glitter on his wings for a bit a sparkle.

ANOTHER WHOPPING GREAT BATCH OF NEW RELEASES FOR DIGISTAMPS 4 JOY

Wow - third week in a row  .... new releases in the double figures for Digistamps 4 Joy store, so I will have to show you TWO cards made with new releases ...

My card features an image from a new artist for Digistamps 4 Joy, Aisne, who is a fellow South African! In fact, she hails from KwaZulu-Natal - the same province as me!

The little image I used is called Toon Dragon and you can find him HERE in the store

How cute it the look on this little dragon's face?!  There is something about cute dragons - I love the fantasy and myths surrounding them so couldn't resist colouring this cutie up using alcohol markers and the highlights are courtesy of my trusty white gel pen.  The construction elements of my card are according to the Saturday Challenge at The Outlawz where there is a recipe:

I think this image will be perfect for a boy's card, isn't it a refreshing change from the usual trains and teddies, skateboards and toys?  I know my sons loved dragons think Barney) when they were young and not much has changed ... they still love them but now they're in the form of 3D movies and long and complicated computer games ... LOL!

The elephant is so cute!!! I coloured the image using alcohol markers and a white gel pen for some doodling : the woodgrain on the heart and the 'knitting' on the legs.  Here is a closer look:

The first is from Digistamps 4 Joy ... our monthly freebie for June:

My card features the freebie, the fairy sitting on a toadstool (an image that I drew for the store quite a while ago but has only been digitised recently), layered behind a diecut and onto some floral DP.  I added a little diecut bird and a spray of some flowers that echo the colours of the DP.

The lantern diecut has an opening/closing door and this is what it looks like closed:

The Inky Impressions Stamp featured on my card is called Sassy Lili (LS12-SL10) that I stamped onto white CS using VersaMagic Jumbo Java.  I coloured the stamped image using a variety of alcohol markers (Copics, Nellie Snellen, Spectrum Noir, and Pantone).  I used a white gel pen for the highlights. the die cut was matted onto lime green, then white, and then patterned CS.  The based card is white 240gsm CS.  As embellishments I sewed on a spray of flowers using invisible thread and added a beautiful royal blue satin ribbon threaded through a little pearl buckle to form a bow.  As I didn't want to add any bling to my card, I added the three Card Candi dots that I bought from my friend Charlie here.
