DIGISTAMPS 4 JOY :: NEW RELEASE :: MISTERI- I CARE

The Digistamps 4 Joy store has released another of my Misteri drawings as a digitamp today.

This one is called

MISTERI - I CARE

And I’d like to share the card I made using it:

I coloured the image using copics and a white gel pen, and here is a better look at the image:

To construct my card, I used the following from my hoarded stash:

white CS base card
pink CS card mat
pink (2 colours) satin ribbon
pink satin ribbon roses that I made myself:

I wrote the word 'hope' a number of times as the sentiment on my card.

clip_image008_thumb

This week's freebie is available on the blog HERE and this is the card I made using the freebie, and following the recipe:

The image is coloured using Copics and the tummy and hat have Stickles (to incorporate the "Let it Sparkle" ingredient)

The rest of the ingredients are portrayed as follows:

Tied up with a Bow : the cream satin bow on the candy cane
Keepin' Warm : more than 3 layers - I have 11
A Little Eggnog - the colour cream ca be seen in the ribbon and also in the red and green DP

That's how easy it is to follow the recipe - of course you can add your own personal touches to your creation, as I did, by sewing on sequins and beads.

Just by entering you could be the winner of some fabulous prizes!

THE OUTLAWZ COPICS AND OTHER ALCOHOL MARKERS CHALLENGE!

Another Friday has rolled around and it's time to tell you about the new challenge at The Outlawz today.

Our theme is TRAVEL  and here is my card to entice you to enter:

The image featured on my card is a Kenny K called Madison Attitude and I have coloured her using Copics and  white gel pen.

This close up will show that I I have printed the image on textured cardstock, and the wnderful effect it gives:

I have paper pieced the beret, and added some Copics shading to give it depth.

To make up my card I used the following from my stash :

brown CS card base
travel themed DP (I cut part of the plane so that i could layer it over the image)
the sentiments were computer printed onto very thin paper and added over the top of the DP:

The bottom border is part of the same DP that I used to paper piece the beret, and I added an offcut of ricrac.

Layered paper flowers and pearls are my embellishments.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:
