THE OUTLAWZ FRIDAY ALCOHOL MARKER CHALLENGE

Our change today at The Outlawz Alcohol Marker group is to create a BACK TO SCHOOL themed card using alcohol marker colouring. 

 

I used a free colouring page off the internet for my DT sample card because I just LOVE the expressions on the kids' faces:

 

 

I coloured the image using Copics and my favourite colour palette, pale and dark turquoise.

 

 

To make my card I used the following :

 

white CS card base

pale and dark turquoise card mats

DP with a numbers theme

turquoise gems

button

ribbon

A Sympathy card using Lily Flower Block are the flowers I'm sharing today!

 

 

I just love these flowers! and am sure that I'll be using this image a lot in the future!

 

The image is coloured using Copics, matted onto a green CS offcut, and embellished with white flat back pearls.  The sentiment is a peel-off.

BUGABOO'S HUMOR ME WEDNESDAY

Did you know that Wednesday, 21 August was Senior Citizen's Day?

 

Over at Bugaboo Stamps' Catch the Bug blog we celebrate a wacky holiday and I really meant to post this monochromatic card on Wednesday, but I have had no internet connection - and yay - I am now back online!

 

 

My card features two merged Bugaboo images called

Make it Snappy - Stella birthday - old fart and Gus Birthday -  Recount

and I used a combination of Copics and Spectrum Noir for the colouring:

There is a great newly released image at Bugaboo Stamps and I'd like to share a little get well card I made with it:

The image is called Flower Critter Bunny, and I coloured the image using Copics and a white gel pen:

I created this CAS card by using the following from my hoarded stash:

The image featured on my card is called 4 Square - Grow old with me from Bugaboo Stamps.  It was printed onto textured brown cardstock and 'jazzed' up with a white gel pen.

This is something that I desperately need!!

My mom always seems to phone me on my landline number when I am out, she leaves a message with one of our sons, and they forget to tell me.... and I am in trouble ......... again!
