DIGISTAMPS 4 JOY :: NEW RELEASE :: BIRDHOUSE

Today, being Sunday, Digistamp 4 Joy has another set of new releases, and the next I'd like to share with you is called "Birdhouse", one of my own silly doodles, now available as a digistamp in the store.

Here is a CAS card I made with it:

Can you see that I am already missing my son who is off to work in Singapore for 6 months - and he hasn't even left yet! He starts on 13 March so I will probably keep this card to send to him while he is there.

The image was coloured using alcohol markers and the sentiment added using MS Word.

DIGISTAMPS 4 JOY NEW RELEASE : WORD (HE)ART

Today, being Sunday, Digistamp 4 Joy has another set of new releases, and the first I'd like to share with you is called "Word He(Art)", one of my own silly doodles, now available as a digistamp in the store. Here is a CAS Valentine's card I made with it:

The image was printed onto white CS, slightly askew, and the "I" and "U" added to complete the sentiment.

I coloured the image with alcohol markers, added some dots with a white gel pen, and then some Stickles. using the palest 'warm shadow' SN marker, I extended the outline of the image to create a better heart shape. Little gem corners were added for a little framing.

A NEW CHALLENGE AT BUGABOO'S CATCH THE BUG CHALLENGE

I think I have enough Valentine's cards for the next couple of years, thank you - so I decided to make a gift bag, which is my project to inspire you to enter the new Catch the Bug Challenge which started today.

I repurposed a gift bag that I got for my birthday last month, and as it was completely blag(embossed) I thought a red, black and white Vaslentine/love theme would be perfect. The image is called Ava and Deacon - love word . I coloured the image using alcohol markers :

THE OUTLAWZ FRIDAY COPIC MARKER CHALLENGE

The theme over at The Outlawz Friday challenge is to make a Valentine's card, and this is my entry :

The image featured is a free colouring page I found on the www, and I coloured it using my alcohol markers:

ANOTHER FREEBIE FRIDAY from BUGABOO STAMPS

If you hop on over to the CATCH THE BUG blog ... you will be able to help yourself to this yummy Bugaboo Stamps cupcake image ... the freebie for this week!

I have a card to share, using the cupcake - I imagine that my cupcake MUST be chocolate flavoured with strawberry frosting ...

I coloured the image using alcohol markers, and then cut it out using a circular die:

That was popped onto a pink CS circular doily diecut. For the background I used a white CS card base, brown, pink white and blue printed DP, a pink gingham print offcut of DP, and pink polka dot washi tape.

Two white flourishes, some flowers with pearl centres and a hite organza ribbon bow complete the card.

The flowers and fancy pearls are from BLUEBERRY BEAR.

BUGABOO STAMPS : "an oldie but a goodie"

Amongst the hundreds of Bugaboo Stamps available there are real beauties ... and this is one of my favourites:

This gorgeous little Cupid is called Deacon Cupid - and he is coloured using alcohol markers and a white gel pen.

To make up my card I used an offcut of digital paper (roses), a heart diecut, a scrap of lace, white satin ribbbon and a metal heart charm.

I didn't add a sentiment as not all of my customers are English speaking. I want the card to appeal to all languages - and the very clear "Valentine's" theme will speak louder than any sentiment can.
