BLUEBERRY BEAR LOVES BUGABOO STAMPS!

I'd like to share a card I made for The Outlawz Sketch Challenge yesterday, using a older image from Bugaboo Stamps, called JACK AND DIANE - LOVE CIRCLE.

To create my card, I used this sketch :

Here is my Valentine's Day card :

I coloured the image using alcohol markers and a white gel pen :

and washi tape from BLUEBERRY BEAR for the vertical and horizontal stripes.

The other items used are a free sentiment download, some silver embellishments with gem centres, a red CS mat and a white CS base card.

BUGABOO STAMPS : NEW RELEASE TUESDAY

YAY - it's Tuesday and I get to share a new image release with you today - and it's from the fabulous Jodie of BUGABOO STAMPS:

Isn't this little AKV baseball guy just the cutest - I love that proud look on his little face!

I coloured the image using alcohol markers and a white gel pen.  here is a closer look at him:

To make my card I used the following:

white CS base that I created four blocks on, using a table in MS Word.
The image is in one of the blocks
The sentiment is in another
The remaining two blocks contain dimensional (puffy) stickers that follow the baseball theme.
I also used an orange and a red CS mat.

I think this has turned out a great birthday card for a young boy.

MONDAY'S GREETING CARD CHALLENGE AT THE OUTLAWZ

The Greeting Card Challenge at the Outlawz is to make a greeting with a sentiment on the front, and to add stitching (hand, machine or faux).  I chose faux stitching and this is my card using a free colouring image from the internet:

I coloured the image using alcohol markers from BLUEBERRY BEAR and a white gel pen :

To create my card I used the following:

white CS card base
four offcuts of DP and using a black fineline pen I created faux stitching and knots, also the large tacking stitches around the pink polka dot background DP
printed circle sentiment (not sure who it's from, but if you do, please let me know)
three puffy fabric flowers
two pawprint buttons

Thanks for visiting me!

DIGISTAMPS 4 JOY :: NEW RELEASE :: DEBI DREADS

I am a little late in my posting for the new releases at Digistamps 4 Joy today ... but rather late than never...

This is a card I made with one of the new images, one of my own drawings, called Debi Dreads:

I used another image from the ds4j store called Hibiscus to layer behind the image, so give the card a little more interest.  The images were coloured using alcohol markers and a white gel pen. I tried to give the skirt and top a soft suede effect - I hope I achieved that.

To complete my card I used the following:
cream CS card base
brown shades printed DP
green shades DP diecut
metallic red card candi
layered green and red flowers from Blueberry Bear
red satin ribbon bow
gold stick on sentiment

Hopefully I will be able to share another new release with you tomorrow.

SILHOUETTE WEDDING CARD

I'd like to share a card I made today - a request from a friend of my mom's. It's a wedding card and I decided to make it a little bit traditional and a little bit contemporary (should a wedding card have so much black on it?)

I used a bridal couple silhouette image, and using MS Word, I added the bridal couple's names on the card. To that I added a spray of flowers, some Stickles, and teeny tiny gems in the flourishes.  Two silver embellies were adored with tiny gems and also attached to the card.  I used pink CS card mats, and the silver and white swirly paper is from Blueberry Bear.

THE OUTLAWZ SUNDAY CAS CHALLENGE

The challenge this week on The Outlawz  SUNDAY CAS challenge is to make a card 4.25 inches X 4.25 inches, and this is mine:

The image was printed onto white CS and I added the sentiment (my own, computer generated) at the same time.  The image is coloured with alcohol markers and I added a few turquoise gems to give the card a more masculine feel ... and that's it!  That's my card!

I love the clean simplicity of it, and I think it's perfect for a man who doesn't want all the frou-frou of ribbons and soppiness.

ANYTHING GOES ... that's the BUGABOO CHALLENGE!

Yes, that's right,

ANYTHING GOES

at Bugaboo's Catch the Bug Challenge today, and here is my card for your inspiration:

The images featured on my card are all from the set called "Mini Set - Roses"

Mini Set - Roses

and I used the since rose in the circle for the outside of my card, that I placed on three strips of washi tape.  The image is popped up on foam diensional tape, although it's not visible here :(

On the inside I used the two roses and the vase, together with one of the sentiments:
