A MOTORCYCLE CARD FOR A GUY'S 21ST BIRTHDAY

One of my clients ordered a card - a motorcycle card for a guy's 21st and she provided an image to be used.  

Here is the card:

I printed the image onto textured CSas is - with no colouring and matted it onto black CS.  Don't you think that this is just awesome printed onto the fabulous texture?

For the sentiment I used a ticket template, added a sentiment (sorry not sure of the store it was a freebie from) and added on another two tickets and some tearing, so that it looks like it was torn from a roll. The gold numbers "21" are stick-ons onto a circle punched with a MS punch.

There is another punched circle secured with a gold brad, and 5 stick-on black gems to finish off the card.  

I used the very masculine looking DP for the background.

I hope she likes it well enough to give to the birthday boy.  I had to pop it into her postbox this afternoon and haven't heard from her yet.

SUNDAY'S CAS CHALLENGE AT THE OUTLAWZ

Today's challenge at The Outlawz is to make a CAS card featuring the cooler weather, so I chose to feature the cooler weather of Autumn/Fall on my card.

The image I have used is the one I drew for the CDAC Digital Drawing Challenge, where the challenge is to use cats or dogs in a Fall(ing) leaves setting.  The image was released today in the Digistamps 4 Joy store.

Here is my card:

I coloured the image using alcohol markers and a white gel pen, and popped up the 'falling' leaves slightly.  The only embellishments are the netting and the satin ribbon.  The sides and top edge of the white CS are inked and the bottom edge is punched (MS punch).

wide velvet ribbon with glitter print

sewn on gold beads

Merry Christmas stick on sentiment

red mat for outline
