The weekend's rolled around again and it's time to share with you anther of my drawings of Misteri - now available in the DIGISTAMPS 4 JOY store.  this one is called

MISTERI - MYSTICAL DANCER

Here is my card, using the image :

 

I coloured the image using Copics and a white gel pen:

To make up my card I used the following from my hoarded stash:

 white CS base card

purple card mat

white die cut

purple punched border

paper roses

sewn on sequins and beads

There's a cute beach frog FREEBIE over at Bugaboo Stamps, and this is my card using the lil critter:

 

Isn't he just perfect for a summer themed card?

 

I used Copics for the colouring :

Did you notice that I used no shading or blending?  I coloured him to look like a cartoon - lovely bright colours to delight a child.

 

The following was used to complete my card:

 

white CS card base

lime green CS mat

lime green/yellow DP's

3 fun buttons

silver cord

yellow satin ribbon and bow

peel off silver sentiment

THE OUTLAWZ ALCOHOL MARKER CHALLENGE - 30 AUGUST

Today's challenge at The Outlawz is ANYTHING GOES (with an optional Christmas twist).

 

As it’s the last week of the month, we’re asking you to create an ‘Anything Goes’ project, and for those of you wanting to make another card for your Christmas stock, we've added the Christmas twist.

Please remember that we are the Alcohol Markers group so your entry must include colouring with alcohol markers (any brand).

 

Here is my DT inspiration card using a RSD angel image:

 

 

The image is coloured using Copics, a white gel pen and Stickles on the wings.

 

I have used the following from my hoarded stash to create my card:

 

white CS card base

red CS mat

DP diecut

metallic gold gems

layered flower with gem centre

faux embossing technique (gold peel off's on gold cardstock)

A BUGABOO 'OLDIE BUT GOODIE'

We all love the new Bugaboo releases and often forget the fabulous oldies, like this one, called

 

LIGHT HOUSE

 

that is featured on my masculine CAS card :

 

 

I have coloured the image using Copics and a white gel pen, and used Stickles for the light rays:

 

 

The word #shine is made using diecut letters, and I used a red CS mat.

DRINK RED WINEDAY !!! YAY!!!

(but isn't every day a good day to drink red wine?)

 

Today really is National Drink Red Wine Day in the USA and this is the reason for my card at Bugaboo's Catch the Bug blog where we share a light-hearted creation every Wednesday.

 

 

My card features the Bugaboo image called Friends Don't Let Friends (Wine Alone) and I have used Copics, a white gel pen and Glossy Accents to colour.

 

 

 

To create my card I used the following from my stash:

 

white CS base card

dark green, white and red CS mats

2 different DP offcuts

silver green and red lace

red satin ribbon and bow

metallic red card candi (legless brads)

wine bottle embellie

Frosted Red

8 oz. red wine
10 raspberries
10 strawberries
1 orange
1 lemon
Ice

Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth and pour.

It’s Tuesday so you know what that means  .....

Bugaboo Stamps has some new images that you are going to love!

 

This  GREAT image is called Bear Bee Hive!   

You can find all of this month’s new releases here!

 

Here is my card made with one of today's new releases:

 

The colouring is Copics, and  here is a better look at that cute mage: 

 

I used beads and jewellery making head pins to adorn the bear's head (instead of the digital antennae) and Stickles on the wings:

 

 

I created my own background in MS Word by drawing hexagonal shapes and arranging them in a honeycomb fashion.  They were then coloured with Copics.

 

The embellies on my card are satin ribbon, paper layered flower, and a dragonfly charm:
