A NEW RELEASE AT BUGABOO STAMPS

There is a fabulous new release today at Bugaboo Stamps - don't you just love Stella's attitude?!

 

 The image and sentiment are so 'LOUD' that I thought it best to use softer colours - so as to give best exposure to that ROFL sentiment!

Thanks, thanks and thanks again, Audrey!!!  You have no idea how much this means to me.  Looking at these things that I have NEVER heard of or seen before, I now realise that we are really starved of such fabulous crafting goodies, living in South Africa!

MONDAY'S GREETING CARD CHALLENGE AT THE OUTLAWZ

I love taking part in the Greeting card challenge every Monday on The Outlawz.

Today's theme was 'HEARTS' - not necessarily Valentines, and this is what I made:

I printed the sentiment (one of my own) straight onto the card, and used a Marianne's Creatables corner die which I then cut out and used as an embellishment.  To that I added stickles to accentuate the heart on it, another little gold heart and two little gold gems.  A strip of gold card was added along the base to ground the card.

It's Sunday today, and time for the next (#103)

And here's the sketch:



To make it a little easier for you and to give you some inspiration, here's my take on the sketch:

 

The image featured on my card is Penny Paisley 1 and she's coloured in Copics.  The DP is a gorgeous silver on pink paisley paper and the mats are a very shiny silver die cut and a bright pink embossed rectangle.  I added a silver hard and some sparkly silver stars as embellies!
