BUGABOO STAMPS NEW RELEASE TUESDAY

It’s Tuesday so  you know what that means Bugaboo Stamps has some new images that you are going to love!

Check out this one in the latest of the newest collection,  called Hoppy Easter,  what an adorable image!

Here is my card for your inspiration:

I coloured the image using alcohol markers and added a generous layer of Glossy Accents to make it look like a  yummy chocolate Easter egg!

and wait.... there's more!  The sentiment comes part of the set!  I used the png version of the image and the sentiment and so got the image to stand in front of the sentiment.

I also used the following to create my card:

white CS card base
blue CS mat
printed DP
turquoise satin ribbon and bow
layered flower

Click HERE to link to the CATCH THE BUG blog to see my fellow team members' creations with the image, and to find the link to the image in  the store.

SPRING BUTTERFLIES AND FLOWERS

A spring themed card is what The Outlawz Monday Greeting Card challenge is all about this week, and here is my entry, using a Bugaboo Stamp called Dandelion Butterflies

As the image is [almost] a silhouette, it required minimal colouring, which I did using alcohol markers and some Stickles:

I used the following from my stash to make up my card:

white CS card base
butterfly themed DP
black CS die cut
paper roses
sewn on flower sequins and beads

SATURDAY'S CHALLENGE AT THE OUTLAWZ

This is the picture to use as inspiration for an entry into the Paper a la Mode Challenge at The Outlawz, and from it I took the layers of patterns on the cups, the colour blue, but changed the white to antique white and cream.

Eucalypt Homewares handcrafted ceramic works

This is the card I made :

I wanted the project to look a little vintage, so I spritzed the papers using an eggshell shimmer mist.

Here's what I did :

AN 'ANYTHING GOES' CHALLENGE AT BUGABOO'S CATCH THE BUG TODAY!

Don't you just love an 'ANYTHING GOES' challenge?  I thought it would be a good idea to get a Christmas Card made to add to my collection ...

The Bugaboo image featured on my card is called Snowman Topper that I coloured using alcohol markers, a white gel pen and some Diamond Stickles.

To create my card I used three colours of washi tape from BLUEBERRY BEAR and a Merry Christmas stick-on, on a white cardstock base.

FREEBIE FRIDAY AT BUGABOO'S CATCH THE BUG BLOG

It's Freebie Friday and bugaboo Stamps has a cute, cuddly, lucky and adorable Theordore St. Patricks Day Bear!
Yep, you certainly have gotten LUCKY today!

Here is my card using the freebie:

I coloured the image using alcohol markers and a white gel pen, and cut it out with a circular die.

Now, here's a thing ... I live in South Africa ... not too many Irishmen around, and certainly not enough to justify the stores selling St Patrick's Day goodies.  I did come across a HUGE Irish banner but that was not use on cards ... and certainly nothing around Shamrocks, well not in Durban anyway.

So a girl's gotta make a plan, and using four green heart shaped die cuts was the closest I could get to a shamrock.  But look, it works!!! ........     ......  well I think it does.

Click HERE to link to the CATCH THE BUG blog where you will find the directions to the download for the freebie!
